Anthropocene
What era is this? What did humanity do or undo? What had been built or what had been destroyed? The Earth is sick, our society is sick. But humanity insists on seeing the disease and not those who are sick., on separating those who can live and those who must not. The indigenous people teach that there is no ONE without the OTHER.
Mother Earth, look out for us!
EPISODE 5
Land demarcation, now
The remedy comes from the territory and spirituality. Humanity needs to relearn how to take care of the places and bodies from which we came from: the womb of the earth! From the bodies that generate life!
EPISODE 6
Genocide
In 2019, more than a thousand trees were illegally cut down in the Amazon every minute. The state of Amazonas recorded the highest number of fires in the last 22 years.
Meanwhile, Bolsonaro’s government tries to legalize the criminal activity of mining in indigenous territory. Agribusiness rules the country and keeps expanding its violence policies against the indigenous peoples across the country.
EPISODE 7
INDIGENOUS BLOOD: NOT A SINGLE DROP MORE
From the European invasion to the present day, indigenous peoples resist extermination. Millions of lives and thousands of peoples, languages and culture have died, but we are still alive, we are still standing sounding our maracas with the strength of our ancestors.
EPISODE 8
The big village
How long will society be complicit in the violence committed against indigenous peoples? How long will this violence not affect your sensitivity? How long will you be conniving with this killing? We are here to say that we are the living resistance. We fight for ourselves and we fight for the environment. The environment is being brutally attacked. They want to legalize mining, they want to legalize deforestation, they want to legalize hydroelectric dams and that’s why they want to legalize genocide. You cannot be indifferent to all of this. Which side are you on?
